A pair of Tennessee residents were injured after two separate accidents in Trigg County Saturday.

According to the Kentucky State Police, at around 1:20 p.m. 32-year-old William Cumbie and his passenger 30-year-old Cassie Hall, both of Clarksville, TN, were traveling with a group of motorcycles on KY 139. Troopers say Cumbie lost control of his motorcycle, ran off the roadway and into a ditch. Both Cumbie and Hall were ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest in a field.

Hall was taken to Trigg County Hospital for a leg injury. Cumbie was not injured.

While the group of motorcycles was stopped for the accident, another motorcycle driven by 39-year-old James Hines of Clarksville, TN failed to slow down in time and struck a motorcycle driven by 39-year-old Scott Johnson of Peyton, CO. Hines lost control of his motorcycle, fell off and began to slide down the highway.

According to troopers, Hines suffered a head injury and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Johnson was not injured.
