A Ballard County traffic stop Thursday night led to drug and other charges for a Tennessee pair.

The Ballard County Sheriff's Office says deputies stopped a vehicle shortly after 11 p.m. for traffic violations. The driver, 46-year-old Jesse Johnson of Ashland City, TN, was found to be driving with a suspended license. Deputies said they got consent to search the vehicle, and found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Johnson and his passenger, 44-year-old Jennifer Biggs, also of Ashland City, were both arrested on possession of meth charges. Johnson is also charged with driving on a suspended license and tampering with evidence. Biggs also faces possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges.
