Terry Mike Jeffrey to Play Marshall Co. High

Legendary musician Terry Mike Jeffrey will be performing Saturday at Marshall County High School's Shadowen Performing Arts Center.

Jeffrey, who was born and raised in Paducah, has been performing since the 1970's. He has shared the stage with many musical legends. He has made appearances on Broadway, and has mastered the guitar, piano, sax and drums. He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1997.

Saturday night's performance will feature a full ensemble of both brass and strings to back Jeffrey up. 

"What it will be is my band plus a seven-piece horn section, plus a seven-piece string section. So, there will be 20 of us on stage, kind of like a mini orchestra. It'll be fun." Jeffrey said.

The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at the Children's Arts Center, Benton City Hall, and at the Calvert City Library. They are also available online at marshallcountyarts.com.
