A pursuit that started in Henry County, Tennessee Sunday morning ended in Calloway County with the arrest of three people.

At about 3 am, the Calloway County Sheriff's Department was notified by the Henry County Sheriff's Department that the pursuit was headed toward the state line. They learned that the pursuit was initiated by suspicion of an aggravated burglary by someone in the vehicle.

Deputies deployed stop sticks at Eldridge Lane to flatten the vehicle's tires, although one of them was already flat when the suspects crossed the state line. Calloway County Deputies took over the pursuit at Old Salem Road as it continued on Highway 121 to Murray, then Highway 641 to Utterback Road to North 16th, where the vehicle was disabled. 

Three people were arrested on multiple charges, including drug offenses for two people from when they were searched before being booked into Calloway County Detention Center.

Twenty-eight year-old Michelle L. Robins of Martin and 40-year-old Emily L. Blackard of Dresden were charged with fleeing or evading police in a vehicle, 3 counts of wanton endangerment, changing drivers with a car in motion, disregarding a stop sign, not wearing a seat belt, and driving on a suspended or revoked license. Robins also faces 3 counts of disregarding a traffic control device, criminal mischief, and not having vehicle insurance. Blackard faces additional charges for possession of methamphetamine and promoting contraband. 

A passenger in the vehicle, 33-year-old Shanda Bomar of Paris, faces of possession of methamphetamine and promoting contraband. There was also a bench warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court.

The investigation by the Henry County Sheriff's Department is ongoing.
