Several new cases of COVID-19 were reported over the three-day weekend, along with three deaths.

The Southern Seven Health Department said Saturday evening that 2 people in Union County have died, and then reported another death on Monday, also in Union County. Two were women in their 90s, and one was a woman in her 50s. Between Saturday and Monday, 5 new cases have been reported, and they are all from Union County, too. Currently, 204 people in the Southern Seven region have been diagnosed with the virus, 80 people have recovered, and 7 people have died.

The Ballard County Office of Emergency Management reported Sunday that man in his 50s has tested positive, and is the tenth case in that county. He is isolating at home.

Other health departments gave updates with no new cases, or did not make updates at all.
