A few thunderstorms may produce wind gusts between 30 and 45 mph, mainly during the afternoon hours. Locally heavy rain, potentially
up to an inch, may be possible over southern Illinois and southeast Missouri today.
After some lingering showers on Tuesday morning, temperatures will stay a few degrees cooler than normal in the mid 80s, with lower humidity.
The weekend will bring temperatures around 89, precisely the average temperature for this time of year.
