Traffic Stop Leads to Meth, Marijuana Arrest

A Marshall County man faces DUI and drug charges.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a deputy conducted a traffic stop Friday on Highway 68 East. As a result of the traffic stop, the driver, 22-year-old Tyler Smith of Gilbertsville, was arrested.

Smith was charged with DUI, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container, and illegal possession of a legend drug.

Smith was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
