Troopers Seek Escaped Christian County Inmate

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's assistance with locating an escaped inmate.

According to Kentucky State Police, on Monday at 3:44 PM, Post 2 in Madisonville received a call indicating that an inmate had escaped the Christian County Detention Center.

According to officers, 19-year-old Jaquavius D. Whitlock of Hopkinsville was undergoing medical treatment when he fled on foot. He was last seen on South O'Neal Avenue in Hopkinsville at appoximately 1:50 PM.

Whitlock is a black male with black hair, brown eyes, stands at approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans. He was jailed on charges of marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, and using restricted ammo.
