A truck reported stolen from a home in Graves County was recovered in North Carolina, leaving two people facing charges.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, a red 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from the driveway of a home on Dublin Hill Road last week. Deputies said they believed a woman by the name of Heather Wilson of Graves County was in possession of the truck.

Wilson was arrested around 7:30 Friday night in Henderson County, North Carolina along with Dalton Crouch, also of Graves County. According to the Henderson County (North Carolina) Sheriff's Office, a license plate recognition system alerted a deputy to the stolen truck, which had been spray painted black.

The deputy initiated a traffic stop and Crouch failed to stop and sped away. After about a two-mile vehicle pursuit, Crouch stopped.

Crouch was taken into custody, but Wilson fled on foot. She was found a short time later at a local hotel in Hendersonville.

Police say they found an empty can of black spray paint in the truck and Crouch still had black paint on his index finger.

Wilson and Crouch face numerous North Carolina charges, and Wilson is being held on Graves County charges as well.
