A Mayfield pair have been arrested on burglary charges.

Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden says a homeowner on Highway 303 just south of Mayfield reported Sunday morning that several thefts had taken place recently at his home. He told deputies he had checked surveillance camera footage from a few weeks ago and saw two people stealing items from his home and property.

Hayden said his office began getting tips after posting surveillance photos on the department's Facebook page. One of the suspects, 43-year-old Brad Bristoe, was in the Marshall County Jail on unrelated charges. Hayden said Bristoe confessed to stealing a generator and a pressure washer from the home. Bristoe reportedly told deputies he stole the items because he was under the influence of methamphetamine.

Deputies located a second suspect, 43-year-old Tonya Jackson, in Mayfield. She also admitted to accompanying Bristoe during one of the thefts, according to Hayden.

Bristoe and Jackson were both charged with burglary. Bristoe was also charged with theft. They were booked into the Graves County Jail.
