Two Charged in Marshall County Burglary

Two men were arrested Wednesday after a burglary in Marshall County.  

The Mayfield Post of the Kentucky State Police received a complaint from the Benton Police Department requesting KSP investigate a burglary at the Marshall County Exceptional Center, a non-profit organization that assists persons with disabilities in the local area. During the course of the investigation, KSP detectives recovered stolen property belonging to the Exceptional Center that was taken during the burglary.

Charged with the burglary are 19-year-old Corey L. Warford of Benton and 19-year-old Cody R. Barbeau of Murray. Both were lodged in the Marshall County Jail charged with burglary 3rd degree, tampering with physcial evidence, and criminal mischief 1st degree.    

A juvenile suspect has also been questioned, but has not been charged at this time.   The investigation is continuing by KSP Detectives Brett Miller, Trevor Pervine, and John Sims.
