Two Ex Ballard Officials Indicted

Two former Ballard County officials face charges related to problems the state auditor found in record keeping at the jail. 

The Attorney General's office says Former Ballard County Jailer Mike Horn, 70, of Wickliffe, and former Deputy Jailer Monica Galloway, 45, of Bardwell, were both indicted by a Ballard County Grand Jury on one count each of official misconduct. 

Officials say state auditors referred their findings last year about record keeping at the Ballard County Detention Center in the 2013 Ballard County Fiscal Court Audit to the Attorney General's office, which started the investigation.
