US 60 Between Smithland, Burna Back Open

US Highway 60 has reopened near the intersection with KY 137 (River Road). 

The road was closed Monday evening at 6:15 pm because of rising water levels. It was opened back up after floodwaters dropped Monday night.

The Cabinet says Emergency Management personnel will continue to evaluate the site to determine if it can remain open, as floodwaters are expected to continue to rise.
