WK&T Warns Customers of Scam

WK&T is reporting a scam that is currently replicating on mobile web browsers.

Some customers are seeing a pop-up that says "Congratulations! Dear West Kentucky Rural Telephone Cooperative Corporation Inc. User, we are holding a Christmas Celebration December 16-December 24 to reward your loyalty. Please click 'OK' to continue."

WK&T officials say this message is not from them. They advise customers not to click on the link, and to close out their browser and disregard.

WK&T says they're looking into who is misrepresenting their company and how they can stop it.
