A man facing multiple counts of assault pleaded guilty to all charges on Monday.
According to Graves County Commonwealth's Attorney Richie Kemp, 21-year-old Marty Watkins of Mayfield appeared in court, where he entered guilty pleas to four counts of assault 3rd degree, along with charges of assault 2nd degree under extreme emotional distress, assault 4th degree, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
Kemp said Watkins will be sentenced to 7 years in prison.
Watkins was arrested on the 2nd degree assault charge in June after he stabbed someone at the Plaza Apartments and fled the scene. He was indicted in August on the other charges while already in Graves County Jail.
