According to White, the patient is in isolation, and the CDC, as well as local, and state health departments have performed an investigation into anyone the individual may have had contact with.
He said, "The initial investigation into that shows that he had very minimal contact with anybody, so that is a positive thing for us."
After their exhaustive investigation, officials announced that nearly everyone the man had contact with has been cleared, except for one person that is now in isolation.
White also shared that the patient is doing fine, with no additional symptoms. Officials have also learned that the patient contracted the virus outside of Kentucky.
