Woman Charged with Shoplifting at Mayfield Walmart

A woman was arrested Sunday on a shoplifting charge.

The Mayfield Police Department says an officer responded Sunday to Walmart after getting a complaint about a shoplifter. The officer arrived to find 23-year-old Helen Estremera being detained by employees. They told the officer Estremera had attempted to leave the store with assorted clothing and bedding items without paying for them. Officers said they also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Estremera.

She was arrested on charges of theft under $500, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
