The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Hill Estates Lane in reference to an unwanted person on the premises. Upon arrival, the deputy found Melody Bell asleep inside of her vehicle.
The deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and reportedly found a cut straw and a glass pipe which tested positive for methamphetamine residue. A further search of Melody's property found inside the home yielded additional drug paraphernalia and controlled prescription medication.
Bell was charged with public intoxication, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
