Obion County woman charged with shooting, killing her husband

A west Tennessee woman is charged with shooting and killing her husband.

Gloria Ann Jenkins is being held at the Obion County Jail for first-degree murder.

According to the Obion County Sheriff’s Office, they responded to a 911 call from a home outside Rives, south of Union City on Tuesday.

They said Gloria Jenkins reported that she had shot her husband, Paul Jenkins, at their home.

Deputies arrived and found Paul Jenkins deceased. Gloria Jenkins was taken into custody without incident.

Her arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday at the Obion County courthouse.
