UPDATE TUESDAY:
Six Flags St. Louis announced it will implement a chaperone policy starting this Saturday, after dozens of teens were involved fights on opening weekend.

The park announced Tuesday via social media that all guests 16 years or younger will need to have a chaperone who is at least 21 years old.

One chaperone may accompany no more than six guests 16 years or younger per day.

Guests 16 years or younger without a chaperone will be removed from the park.

The chaperone must be in the park for the whole duration and be available by phone.

Guests 17 years or older may be required to present a government-issued photo ID with their date of birth.

If guests are not able to provide identification, they may be denied entry to the park.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The first day of the season for Six Flags St. Louis ended early after multiple fights broke out among juveniles on Saturday.

Eureka, Missouri police said there were as many as 100 teens involved in multiple fights in the theme park on Saturday night.

Officers responded and dispersed the juveniles, and park officials decided to close Six Flags early to de-escalate the situation.

About a half-dozen teens were detained. There were no injuries or damage done to the park.
