Newcomb Wins West Kentucky Open

Patrick Newcomb of Benton took home the championship trophy Sunday in the professional division at the West Kentucky Open at Drake Creek Golf Club.

Newcomb (69/66) won a one-hole playoff with Joey Mayo (67/68) of Paducah and Seth Arthur (67/68) of Metropolis after all three finished tied at 135.

It's Newcomb's second career win as a professional at the event.
