Mechanical brush cutting and tree removal will continue along U.S. 68 in Marshall County through May 31.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is working along the shoulders of U.S. 68 between the Marshall-McCracken County Line and the 22.5-mile marker at Jonathon Creek Bridge.

While there are no lane closures, drivers should stay alert and slow down when approaching the work zone. Watch for signage and flaggers directing traffic around active work areas.

This effort is part of a Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP) along U.S. 68 in Marshall County, which includes pipe extensions, shoulder grading, and other safety enhancements. The overall project is scheduled for completion by October 31.
