Cairo Road blocked at H.C. Mathis due to gas leak

Cairo Road in Paducah is blocked because of a gas leak.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said that Cairo Road is blocked at the intersection with H.C. Mathis Drive. They expect the road to be blocked until nearly 4:30 p.m.

Crews are working to repair and contain the leak. KYTC is asking drivers to avoid the area.
