Calloway pair arrested in ongoing drug investigation

A Calloway County pair was arrested on Monday as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Calloway County Sheriff’s detectives, along with detectives from Marshall County, arrested the two Monday afternoon at a home on Marigold Drive. A search of the home reportedly uncovered what were described as quantities of illicit drugs.

Deputies arrested 62-year-old Jody M. Smith of Kirksey and 64-year-old Gracie L. Litchfield of Murray and charged them with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Litchfield was also charged with possession of marijuana.

Both were taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
