An account to receive donations has been set up to assist Crittenden County Sheriff's Deputy Rick Coyle and his family.
On April 3, Deputy Coyle was shot twice during an exchange of gunfire at a residence along KY 365. The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department had gone to the home along with the Kentucky Department of Community-Based Services to deliver emergency guardianship paperwork.
Coyle was flown to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, where he was listed in critical condition.
Donations are being accepted at any Farmer's Bank location. There is also a Venmo account available at this link .
