A Saturday night pursuit led to the arrest of a Princeton man on several charges.
WPKY reported Princeton Police as saying shortly after 9:45 pm they attempted to stop a vehicle operated by 33-year-old Javarius Williams, who had an active warrant for his arrest, on South Seminary Street. Williams failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit that ended on Mechanic Street.
Officers noticed the odor of marijuana when they pulled over Williams and noticed he had marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Willams was charged with fleeing or evading police, driving on a DUI suspended license, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and display or possession of a cancelled or fictitious operator’s license.
He was also served with a Christian County Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on a traffic case from 2025 and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
