McCracken man charged with 33 counts of possession of child sex abuse material

A McCracken County man faces more than two dozen counts of possession of child pornography 

On Friday detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at the residence of 64-year-old William D. Forsythe pursuant to an investigation with the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, of which the sheriff's office is a member.

Forsythe was arrested and charged with 11 felony counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance of a minor under 12 and 22 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance of a minor under 18, For a total of 33 counts of possessing matter involving child sexual abuse or exploitation material.

Forsythe was lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
