Crews have begun milling and paving several roads in Paducah.

The City of Paducah said crews have started working on Industrial Drive, Charter Oak Drive, and on Jefferson Street from 16th Street to 28th Street.

The project to mill and pave these roadways is expected to last approximately two weeks.

The contractor will work on Industrial Drive and Charter Oak Drive at the beginning of the week with crews commencing the work on Jefferson Street by the end of the week. Residents who live along this stretch of Jefferson Street are requested not to park on the street while milling and paving operations are underway.

Crews will work to maintain access to residents and businesses and provide one lane of traffic flow; however, there may be times when traffic may need to detour due to a brief closure.
