Paducah police are requesting the public's help locating a man charged with assaulting another man Monday night.

The victim contacted police and said a man he knows as "J.D." had hit him in the head and face with an unknown object in the parking lot of an apartment building at 600 Broadway.

Officers say the victim's face was cut and swollen, and he was taken to Baptist Health Paducah for treatment.

After interviewing the victim, detectives reportedly identified "J.D." as 48-year-old Judson Lorinza Randolph.
Detectives say Randolph is a registered sex offender that is not in compliance with the sex offender registry and has not registered as a sex offender in Kentucky.

Authorities have obtained warrants charging Randolph with second-degree assault and failure to comply with the sex offender registry. Randolph is also charged in a Texas warrant for failure to comply with the sex offender registry.

Anyone with information about Randolph's whereabouts is asked to contact the Paducah Police Department at 270-444-8550. Information can also be provided anonymously through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers by texting WKY and your tip to 847411 or by downloading the WKY Crime Stoppers app.
