Princeton traffic stop leads to arrest of Murray man

A traffic stop Monday in Princeton led to the arrest of a Murray man.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy made a traffic stop on East Market Street, after a vehicle nearly caused a crash with the deputy’s cruiser.

It was discovered that the driver, 40-year-old Billy Damron, was operating on a suspended or revoked operators license.

After further investigation, Damron was arrested and charged with marijuana possession and traffic offenses. He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
