Christian County man injured in fireworks accident Saturday

More than a week after Independence Day, a Hopkinsville man was injured in a fireworks accident on Saturday.

Hopkinsville Fire Department Spokesman Captain Payton Rogers told WKDZ that a 43-year-old man was hurt in the fireworks accident at a home on Billy Goat Hill Road. The unidentified victim reportedly had facial injuries. 

The man was rushed to a Tennessee hospital after the incident.
