Nighttime paving planned on Lone Oak Road through June

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a nighttime paving project along Lone Oak Road beginning around Monday.

A paving crew will work in short segments starting near the Hannan Plaza shopping center and continuing toward the Hucks convenience store near the intersection with KY 1241 in Lone Oak.

The work zone will be active at night between 8 pm and 6 am.

Motorists should be alert for flaggers directing traffic in the work zone. 

The project is expected to be completed by June 30.
