Thurman, James

James Craig Thurman, 52, of Paducah died in Creve Coeur, Missouri on March 17, 2014. Born August 2, 1961 in Murray, Kentucky, Mr. Thurman was a member of First Baptist Church in Murray. He was a ballroom dance instructor/coach/adjudicator. He is survived by a son, Curt Thurman of Murray; fiance', Jane Triplett of Puryear; father, Charles "Boogie" Thurman of Cape Coral, Florida; a brother, Ashley Thurman and wife Pam of Paducah. Mr. Thurman was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Love Thurman. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Thurman School of Dance, 225 Brentwood Dr., Paducah, KY 42003. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for his son's education expenses.
