Pair Charged in Murder Case Appear in Court

PADUCAH - A Paducah pair charged in the shooting deaths of two people in August were in court Thursday.

The McCracken County Circuit Court Clerk says 23-year-old Mykweze Cox and 21-year-old Alexis Graham were arraigned in court Thursday morning. Judge Tim Kaltenbach set a pretrial conference for Jan. 25 at 9 a.m. for both defendants. 

Cox faces two counts of first degree murder, first degree burglary, first degree robbery, tampering with physical evidence, and being a felon in possession of a handgun for his alleged role in the Aug. 22 shooting at Lone Oak Manor apartments on College Avenue.

Graham is charged with two counts of complicity to first degree murder, first degree burglary, and first degree robbery.

The shooting left 23-year-old Justice Hicks and 31-year-old Victor E. Moore dead at the scene.
